How to register your SIM by SMS & Online in GP, Robi, Banglalink, Airtel, Teletalk & Citycell

GP, Robi, Banglalink, Airtel, Teletalk & Citycell SIM registration ordered by Government

Here the simple way to register to avoid connection termination as Government notice to re-register all existing SIM of all operator.
You can do it either SMS or Online, although SMS is the preferred way as there would be much more chaos in customer care center.

This sms process is valid for those SIM purchased after 2012 & also earlier subscriber may check their status.
If you fail to register by this process, you have to register via Biometric Method which  will be available from 16 December.

SIM Registration By SMS

For Grameenphone, Robi, Airtel, Teletalk & Banglalink
Type in messege
Your National Identification number,<space>Date of Birth,<space>Name and send it to 1600
Example: 1983125435654, 10 Oct 1983, Mominul Islam & send it to 1600. On the returning sms you will have the instructions to complete the process.

If you fail to do it by the above method then try to do it in below method
Example: 1983125435654, 10/10/1983, Mominul Islam & send it to 1600

Now for Citycell users: Try this example
U 1983125435654, 10 Oct 1983, Mominul Islam & send it to 1600.

This SMS Registration campaign will continue until 15 November.

Robi SIM re- Registration Via USSD code

Robi now start a campaign through USSD code, where you can check your sim registration status and can also complete the registration process.
To do so Dial *1600# & follow the instruction.

SIM Registration online

Only Banglalink has introduced this feature. You can type the mobile number & a PIN will be sent to your mobile. Insert the PIN and follow further instruction to complete the registration process. Click the below link to do That.
